Busy cafe on a Sunday,we got there before the families started piling in.I got the house salad with balsamic vinaigrette and turkey Brie sandwhich with apple compote, delicious! It was huge and husband helped finish it. He had the pumpkin soup with side salad. The food here is really good but we both agreed pretty pricey for a deli-$40(similar pricing to what we have in Bay Area)

10/10 would recommend! We sat outside overlooking the fountain. I had an amazing lunch with my friend. She had the salad and I had the grilled cheese on sourdough. The drinks were good- Arnold Palmer with passion ice tea. It was airy and lots of sunlight. Very minimal service as you order a head of time then provided with a number , they bring your food to you. However you bus your own table. You get your own silver ware. No issues there just an observation (for those not aware). Great lunch spot not sure if they do brunch there . I would love to come back and try other items on the menu.

Outside seating has a nice view. The food is okay. I been here a few times. The customer service is good. Recently I came here again just for a nice view and to treat myself to a nice drink. I had the soup and salad combo which is overpriced but what can I expect this is in EDH. The Chardonnay was nice. Would come back again mainly to have a drink and have a social lunch, but I wouldn't go out of my way for the food here.

This place has a large variety of fresh foods. We ordered the grilled cheese with bacon, ceaser salad and a chocolate chip cookie. Everything we ate was amazing and tasted fresh. The seating area was spaced out and there was plenty of seating with our big party.

Stopped in for lunch after a movie. It's been awhile since I have been there. The Market Salad could possibly be my favorite salad of all time. All the ingredients are so fresh, simple and delicious. Employees were friendly, and our food came out quickly. The cafe is decorated simply, and I thought with the time floors it might be noisy, but it was not. There's tons of ice cold water to refill water glasses with. Decided we want to come back to try a wood fired pizza next.

It is an interesting, albeit somewhat confusing at first, casual deli type restaurant. It's especially good for lunch. I stopped here for a brief stop to catch a quick lunch, and it worked out perfectly. It's a bit confusing if you've never been, as it isn't quite clear what the concept is, how to order, what to order, and where to order. Once navigating through it once, it seems quite easy and straightforward. They have a variety of things, with a menu board with salads, hot and cold sandwiches, and then a variety of options. The options could be, for example, three deli side items from the case on a dinner size plate. It all looked good. Once I saw where other people were ordering, it became easy, and the service was very friendly. You order, they give you a number on a metal post, and you choose a place to sit. There are indoor and outdoor patio options. I ordered a cold option vegetarian sandwich called "The Rainbow". It was great, large, and full of fresh veggies. The bread was delicious. They bring it to the table, and you get your napkins and utensils st stations in the middle or the room. They have a water station in there as well. Overall, it's a good experience for a good and quick casual meal. Do it once, and you'll get the routine down pat!

We've been coming to this Selland's location since it opened and thought it was time to update our review. We used to get mostly pizzas. But lately we have been really into the burgers. My husband likes the BBQ and I go for the All-American. They don't have a grill, so don't try to order your burger medium rare. They all come out medium, because they are cooked in the oven. But they are delicious. Something about them makes them so perfect. Unlike other burgers this stacked, almost nothing seems to fall off while you're eating it. The fries are pretty good too, we usually share them since it's a very generous portion. I recommend getting the aioli to go with. I do notice that recently there are more less than stellar reviews. If you have a problem, I do encourage you to say something. The management here really listens and they want to make you happy. That's why we keep coming back, even if sometimes it's not perfect.

I have been to Selland's before, but this was my first time at this Selland's location in El Dorado Town Center. The atmosphere in the Center itself is very enjoyable and pleasant, so it's only fitting that there are pleasant restaurants in the Center. Selland's was a popular dining choice in this area as well as Sacramento. We came here on a Saturday evening and there was a wait to order and a wait for the food. We ordered the Tri-Tip Dip ($15), Tomato Basil Soup ($7), and a Combination Plate ($22) of 2 teriyaki chicken thighs, macaroni and cheese, and roasted brussels sprouts. The tri-tip dip was pretty good by itself, but it was even tastier dipped in the au jus it came with. The macaroni and cheese was a hit, but the roasted brussels sprouts, although not bad, didn't have a lot of flavor. I didn't try the chicken, but it looked good. The tomato basil soup tasted sour and was disappointing. Overall, I enjoyed the tri-tip sandwich and the sides. We sat outside on the patio, which overlooked the water fountain in the Center's "lake." Great spot for outdoor dining.
